The greatest blessing or the greatest disaster…you get to decide for yourself..but you can see from the technicolor rainbow of flavorful color and textures how I felt!!! (I am a glass half full kinda gal )

I worked on this one for a little bit at a time starting in mid March and just recently finished it up!! It got little touches of paint and detail here and there… and there was certainly zero rush to finish so I really got to savor the creation time!

It has a ton of texture details… it is hard for the photos to do it justice!

Encaustic Crayola melted scrapped off and remelted to bring out surprise textured details… pieces of silk and tulle, cardboard hearts marinated in gold leaf, glitter, tulle corsage sewn onto canvas … honestly it’s just a big party mix of the supplies I had on hand!!!
